Their hands, their eyes, their presence; it’s a process rooted in trust, instinct, and quiet transformation.
Lihi shares with her team, a rare glimpse into their dynamic as co-creators, the quiet gestures that shape their bond, and the artistry stitched into every gown. From creative disagreements to shared laughter in the atelier, their relationship is built on trust, vision, and a deep love for the craft — and for each other.
What’s something people would be shocked to learn about how you work together?
“ People might be surprised to know that I’m actually the creative behind all the concepts in our collections — I do the sketches, design ideas, and drawings. My mom genuinely loves the way I think, and she flows with me so naturally. She always says, “You’re the boss.”
And there’s this one chair in the studio — the main chair — that we both love. When she gets in before me, she’ll always get up and let me sit there the moment I arrive. It’s her quiet way of showing support, and it always makes me smile. But what makes it really special is how she steps in with her quiet strength — helping turn my ideas into reality with the tiniest, most thoughtful touches. She’ll know exactly how to shape a skirt so it moves like a dream, or where to place a line on the corset top so it flatters perfectly. Sometimes we’ll sit together and talk through a detail that’s just a few millimeters — and those moments, they’re where the real magic happens. Because it’s not just design — it’s trust, and love, and two generations building something together.
Do you ever disagree on a design? How do you handle it?
Yes, of course — it happens. We sometimes look at the same concept and feel completely different things. But instead of trying to change each other’s minds, we give each other space. We trust the other’s instincts. She lets me run with my vision, and I let her run with hers. And somehow, in the end, we always fall in love with what the other created.
What’s a recent moment in the atelier that made you both laugh out loud?
We were working on a bold sketch I had done — really playful, not something she’d usually go for. She raised an eyebrow in that classic “really?” mom way… but then five minutes later, she was totally into it and already thinking of how to build it. We both just burst out laughing because we knew it would end up that way.
Describe each other in three words.
Her: Grounded. Graceful. Non-compromising. With an incredible eye.
Me (according to her, I think): Passionate. Bold. Brilliant. Creative. Super talented.”
