BRIDAL STYLIST (hiring now)
Mark Ingram Atelier is looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and product driven Bridal Stylist to join our strong team. Applicant must possess strong selling skills and have a ‘roll up your sleeves attitude.’
Roles/Responsibilities:
Properly assist brides throughout the bridal appointment, offering them the knowledge and expertise that is needed to help select their perfect gown.
Detailed follow-through with your bride after every appointment.
Working with the bride from first appointment to the order process and everything in between leading up to their wedding day.
Ability to take measurements and properly select sizing for the bride.
Building your business within our business. Constantly working towards building and strengthening your client base leading to a strong referral business.
Ability to work through a difficult situation and problem solve immediately. Must be confident in every decision made.
Capable of understanding and working with a strong assortment of luxury designer gowns.
Ensuring the Salon Floor is always kept up to our visual standards and maintaining our ‘Salon Etiquette.’ Every Stylist is given a zone to be responsible for maintaining when you are on the schedule.
Reports directly to the Retail Director.
Requirements:
Prior luxury sales experience.
Must possess professionalism and exceptional customer service skills.
Product Knowledge driven!
Eager and willing to learn and grow and accept challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Being self-assertive and task oriented.
Must be available to work on Saturdays (mandatory).
The Atelier hours are 930-630; closed on Sundays.
Bridal Seamstress (hiring now)
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bridal Seamstress to join our Bridal Alterations Team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with bridal gowns and formalwear, with strong sewing and construction skills. This role focuses on executing precise alterations, gown construction, and repairs using both machine and hand-sewing techniques, ensuring each gown meets the highest standards of fit and craftsmanship.
Roles/Responsibilities:
Perform precise bridal gown alterations, including hems, bustles, bodice adjustments, and fit corrections.
Sew, construct, and repair bridal gowns using industrial sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques.
Work with delicate fabrics such as lace, tulle, silk, chiffon, and satin while maintaining gown integrity.
Follow alteration instructions, measurements, and work orders accurately.
Meet alteration timelines and production schedules in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate with seamstresses, fitters, and management to ensure consistent workflow and gown quality.
Requirements:
Proven experience sewing bridal gowns, formalwear, or similarly detailed garments.
Strong proficiency with industrial and domestic sewing machines.
High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Ability to follow measurements, alteration notes, and work orders accurately.
Strong time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Compensation:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour (based on experience).
HOUSE CONCIERGE (hiring now)

Mark Ingram's Premiere Bridal Atelier in New York City epitomizes NYC-chic with a luxury collection of designer gowns curated by Mr. Ingram himself. The Atelier features coveted designs from Mira Zwillinger, Ines Di Santo, Stephane Rolland, Elie Saab Bridal, and more, including the Mark Ingram Bride collection. Located in the historic DuMont Building at 515 Madison and 53rd Street, the Atelier operates by appointment only, with reservations available via phone or email.
Roles/Responsibilities:
This is a full-time, on-site role located in New York, NY for a Receptionist. The Receptionist will be responsible for greeting clients, managing phone lines, scheduling appointments, and providing clerical support. Other day-to-day tasks include maintaining the reception area, assisting with customer inquiries, and supporting the team in various administrative functions.

MERCHANT INTERN (seasonal / position closed)
Join us for this exciting paid Bridal Internship Opportunity at Mark Ingram Atelier, New York City's premiere luxury bridal retailer:
Assist upper management team with day-to-day Salon responsibilities.
Partner with House Concierge in booking bridal appointments and helping to communicate messages effectively to the team accordingly.
Management of Samples & Bride’s Orders In/Out.
Prepping and assisting at Trunk Shows and Special Events.
Ensure the Salon Floor is always kept up to our visual standards and maintain our ‘Salon Etiquette'.
Supporting the Stylists during appointments to allow for seamlessness throughout the business day (i.e., assisting with keeping the fitting room organized and re-merchandising gowns back on the floor correctly).
